How the App Works

Girl Dinner Mode does not require you to sign in or create an account. On first launch, the app creates an anonymous ID on your device. This ID is used to sync your data securely so the app works as intended — including across sessions on the same device.

What We Collect

The following data is associated with your anonymous ID and stored securely on our servers:

  • Saved meals, badges, and save history
  • Unsaved meal history
  • Cooked meal history
  • Weekly meal plan
  • Usage patterns and in-app events, used to improve the app — including meal generations, saves, shares, SOS completions, tarot draws, era selections, weekly plan actions, grocery list exports, and personalization preference changes

Your preferences, filter choices, and personalization settings are also stored locally on your device.

Optional Account

You can create an optional account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google to sync your data across devices. If you choose to do this, we may receive your Apple ID or Google ID and, if you share it, your email address. No other personal information is collected or required.

Email List

If you choose to sign up for updates on girldinnerMode.com or girlworldproducts.com, we store your email address to send occasional product updates. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing hello@girlworldproducts.com. We don't share or sell email addresses.

Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial. The app stores the date your trial begins on your device to determine trial and free-tier access.

How Purchases Work

If you choose to subscribe to Premium, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or Google through Google Play, depending on your device. The developer does not receive your payment card information. Subscription status is used to unlock premium features.

Subscription Management

Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Google Play account. You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Your Data

We don't sell your data — and if that ever changes, you'll know before it does. You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings. This removes everything from our servers and your device permanently.

Personalization

The app learns what works for you over time to make meal suggestions better. This personalization is based on your saves, cook history, and filter choices. You can turn personalization off at any time in Settings.

Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the app. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
