Delete from the app
The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly from the app.
- Open Girl Dinner Mode
- Go to More → Settings
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete My Data
- Confirm — this removes everything from our servers and your device permanently
Other data options
If you don't want to delete everything, Settings also offers:
- Reset My Taste Profile — clears inferred preferences and filter history. Your saves, cook history, grocery list, and weekly plan stay intact.
- Export My Data — download a copy of your saves, cook history, and preferences before deleting.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes all of the following permanently:
- Your anonymous ID and all associated data
- Saved meals and save history
- Cooked meal history
- Weekly meal plan
- Grocery list
- Disliked meals
- Usage events and personalization data
- Optional account information (Apple ID or Google ID and email, if provided)
- Push notification token
Local data stored on your device is also cleared. This action cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request deletion by emailing us at hello@girlworldproducts.com with the subject line Delete My Account.
Include any information that helps us identify your account — such as your email address if you created an optional account, or your approximate sign-up date. We will process your request within 30 days.
Email list
Deleting your app data does not automatically remove you from our email list if you signed up separately. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email we've sent you, or email hello@girlworldproducts.com. You can also toggle off "Updates and News" in the app's Settings screen before deleting.
Subscriptions
Deleting your data does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To cancel your subscription, go to your App Store or Google Play account settings and cancel from there before deleting your data.
